George Soros Quietly Poured $100K Into Local DA Race Without Anybody Knowing

    Peter Hasson
    Associate Editor 6:00 PM 02/08/2018

George Soros helped tip another district attorney’s race with more than $100,000 in support of his preferred candidate — and he did it without anybody finding out until after the campaign. A Soros-funded national political action committee (PAC), Justice & Public Safety, spent more than $100,000 on behalf of Portsmouth, Virginia Commonwealth Attorney Stephanie Morales between Sept. 9 and Nov. 4, the PAC’s FEC filings reveal. Soros’s support for Morales’s campaign has not been previously reported.

Soros has repeatedly backed left-wing district attorney candidates with massive donations typically only seen in gubernatorial, congressional or presidential campaigns. Soros spent more than $9 million on local DA races in 2015-2017 alone, allowing the New York resident to influence local criminal justice policies all across the country.

Justice & Public Safety PAC’s spending on behalf of Morales (known as “in-kind” contributions) included more than $82,000 on polling, media advertisements and direct mail leaflets in the crucial last two weeks of the campaign. The PAC did not return The Daily Caller’s request for comment. Soros’s financial backing of Morales gave her an enormous fundraising edge over her challenger, Portsmouth attorney T.J. Wright. The $106,000 Soros spent on Morales’s behalf single-handedly more than doubled all contributions to Wright’s campaign, according to Wright’s campaign filings.

Morales first won the seat in a special election in 2015, taking 48 percent of the vote. Her Soros-funded campaign did far better than her first campaign and won 63 percent of the vote — despite Morales losing three of her most influential backers in July.

Soros’s efforts to tilt local contests have often become campaign issues — when they’ve become public. But Soros’s support for Morales never became public during the campaign, possibly because Morales filed her campaign finance reports on paper, rather than online, making it more difficult for reporters to scrutinize the filings.

Reports that are filed online are uploaded into a statewide data base of campaign finance reports, making them easily discoverable. Manually filed reports, on the other hand, require either personally visiting the city registrar or requesting them via mail.

This is how you control a nation. One DA at a time.
The left is often not correct, the right is often not right, and we the people are often wronged.

I wonder if it was Soros money that created a lush and plentiful legal defense fund for any high profile immigrants in San Francisco.

Zarate, the lowlife immigrant that "found a gun' and picked it up and used it, supposedly to kill seals, but ended up taking the life of Kate Stenle -- he had attorneys with $ 200 haircuts and $ 3,000 suits. This is why he got off with only a slap on the wrist. And a few weeks after the verdict, Gov Jerry Brown signed legislation into law that removes the gun penalties from a crime. (In the end, Zarate did have some type of minor penalty for having used a gun without the state issued permit to own it.)

Anyway the neo cons are attempting to flip our values. And succeeding, by brain washing a significant portion of the populace and by utilizing governors in states where the liberals like Brown own the higher offices. And where they don't have libs in office, Soros apparently will see to it that they come about.

The Brown family is OG third way. Oil drilling, offshore fracking, protestor shooting fascist son of a bitch.
Might as well toss the word liberal in the trash before applying it to the author of the most violent reprisals to peaceful anti-war protestors
and Occupy. That piece of shit kept his name off of every outrageous maneuver carried out by his underlings in Oakland and in the UC.
Amazing how someone can wield that much power over information. The truest traitors in our society are those bastards working for the papers, TV stations
and every other outlet that should be required (again) to service the public interest.

I lost my skin pigment to his aerial spraying of Santa Clara County in SF Bay area 1981 to 1982. Even worse than whathappened to me, studies came out that showed babies inutero during the spraying had unusual stomach linings by the time they were six years old or so. This type of lining is usually a precursor to cancer.

All so Jerry Brown could help a buddy ship produce off to Japan, where the buyers demanded a rigorous spray program so their nation wouldn't end up with our Med Fly.

Yet anyone who is not familiar with him seems to think we Californians are so lucky. That Jerry is environmentally-minded, etc.
